July 4th Celebrations In Myrtle Beach & Murrells Inlet

With America’s birthday celebration less than one week away, it’s time to plan out your 4th of July party! Murrells Inlet is known as a fishing village with a drinking problem, so you really can’t go wrong spending the day here in the Inlet. Inlet Sports Lodge is here to provide you with all of the details you need to make this Independence Day the best one ever!

July 4th Festivals & Events

Since the Inlet Sports Lodge is located in Murrells Inlet, let’s start out with the annual event that is help right in our neck of the woods, the Murrells Inlet Boat Parade. Beginning at the Garden City Point at 4pm, watch boats decked out in red, white and blue compete for prizes and cheer on your favorites. After the parade, head to Surfside Beach for the Surfside Beach 4th of July Celebration at Surfside Pier! There will be live entertainment and plenty of family fun from 6pm to 10pm.

Local Fireworks Displays

Sure, you could head to your local fireworks store, fight the crowds and spend a couple hundred dollars for 5 minutes of entertainment, or you can head to one of the following spots to watch an amazing display of the best fireworks around:

Barefoot Landing – Beginning at 10pm, enjoy their Independence Day fireworks display at one of the most popular shopping destinations in Myrtle Beach.

Broadway at the Beach – Typically Broadway hosts fireworks nights each and every Tuesday and Friday nights throughout the summer, but they will be putting on a special display on the 4th at 10pm! The best place to view the fireworks is along the bridges connecting the two sides of this area attraction.

Cherry Grove Pier – Just north of North Myrtle Beach, the Cherry Grove Pier will be setting off their fireworks at 9:30pm.

The Marshwalk – If you decided to enjoy some of our bars and restaurants after the Murrells Inlet Boat Parade, you are lucky enough to be privy to a magnificent fireworks display! Beginning at 10pm, enjoy what the Inlet has to offer in the sky.
