Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 25 years of age or older to reserve a room at Inlet Sports Lodge Murrells Inlet South Carolina. Photo ID is required upon check-in. Individuals 17 years of age and under are considered children. If it is found upon arrival that the registered guest is under 25 years of age and is not traveling with a person at least 25 years of age or older, the management reserves the right to refuse service and also to retain any reservation deposit.
No Pets & No Smoking Policy
The Lodge strictly enforces a NO PET Policy. All guest rooms and lobby areas are SMOKE FREE. No pets are allowed on any areas of the property, including the building’s interior area, parking lots, and poolside area. Smoking is only allowed in the outdoor areas of the property, including the parking lots, poolside area, and room entry walkways. We also ask that you please not burn any candles or incense in your room during your stay. If it is determined by our staff that you have had a pet, smoked, or burned candles/incense inside your room, you will be charged a fee to cover all costs associated with cleaning and sanitizing the room of any pet hair/dander, pet “accidents,” cigarette smoke, ash, etc., or intense scents from candles/incense by a professional service company.
In order to guarantee your reservation(s), a deposit of your first night’s stay before tax will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.
If you are making any reservation(s) for someone other than yourself, or paying the total balance for your reservation(s) in full prior to your arrival date, we require a Credit Card Authorization form to be completed by the cardholder and returned to us via email or fax before the reservation is to be considered “guaranteed.”
Guests who book any reservation(s) through any website, online service or online/third-party retailers and who do not provide a valid credit card that can be charged for the deposit are not guaranteed any reservations.
Deposits may not be refunded to the original card and charged to another at check-in without preapproval from management.
#2 - Splitting the Cost of a Stay The Lodge requires that any remaining balance on a reservation be paid at check-in before room keys are issued to each guest. As such, we do ask that any guests planning to “split” the cost of their stay with another guest mention this at the time of booking or as far in advance as possible. If each party will be checking in at separate times, a credit card authorization form will be required in advance (at least 72 hours prior) to ensure the balance can be paid in full at check-in and keys may be issued to the first party or member arriving. To inquire more about paying a balance in advance, splitting the cost of a stay, or any payments for person(s) not on property who wish to pay for a guest's reservation, please contact our reservations or management staff.
We will try our best to meet any and all special requests you may have for your stay, however requests are not guaranteed. Requests for a specific room/floor of the building are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on availability.
If you wish to cancel your reservation(s), please do so no later than 72 hours (3 days) prior to your 4:00 p.m. check-in time to avoid forfeiting your room deposit. If you reduce your length of stay within 72 hours (3 days) prior to your 4:00pm check-in time, you may still be responsible for the full night’s room charge. If you elect to depart prior to your scheduled departure date, no refunds will be issued for any unused nights of your stay.
Check-in: 4:00 p.m. / Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
Early check-in may be requested on the day of arrival but is not guaranteed. Late check-out may be requested on the night before departure but is also not guaranteed. If a late check-out is granted, the room must be vacated no later than 12:00pm or the management reserves the right to charge one full night’s stay.
The remaining balance of your stay will be due at check-in before any keys will be issued to the room. We also require a valid form of photo ID and a credit card for incidental purposes.
Guests who pay their balance due at check-in with cash will still need to provide a form of payment for incidentals. If a credit card is not available, The Lodge will require a cash security deposit in the amount of $200. This security deposit will be refunded at check-out provided you have not incurred any incidentals and that there are no damages to the room.
All rates are subject to taxes of 11% plus an additional resort fee that varies depending on the season/week. Taxes include State & Local Accommodations taxes and State Sales Tax. The Resort Fee that covers included amenities such as WiFi, laundry facilities, pool facilities, local & long-distance calling, light continental breakfast and daily housekeeping. Some packages mentioned on our “Specials” page may be all-inclusive, with taxes already included.
The Lodge asks that any additional guests that may be staying are mentioned at the time of booking.
As our Standard Deluxe Studio rooms accommodate 2 adults and 2 children maximum, any 3rd adult is subject to an Extra Person Fee of $10 per night. Parties of 4 or more adults exceed the occupancy limit and will be recommended to book a separate Standard Deluxe Studio or upgrade to a 2 bedroom Luxury Suite.
For the security of all guests, room keys are never issued to any person whose name is not registered as the Primary or Additional Guest on a reservation. If there is any person other than yourself that you would like to be able to access your room, please ask our Front Desk staff to register that person as your Additional Guest.
We ask that you inform us of your bedding needs at the time of booking. Guests who book their reservation through any online/third-party retailers may not be guaranteed to have a Sleeper Sofa in their room unless it is specifically requested at least 3days prior to arrival. Bedding requests may be modified up to 1 day prior to your arrival date. Bedding modifications on the day of arrival may not be guaranteed due to availability.
Trailer, Boat & Motorcycle Parking
Parking is included with your stay. Parking is available for boats and trailers up to 25 ft. depending on availability. We ask to please be informed at time of booking or at least 3 days prior to arrival if you plan to bring any trailers or boats. For trailers small enough to fit in a standard parking space, we ask that the trailer from the vehicle be unhitched and the vehicle be parked separately. Motorcycles are also welcome.
Pool Hours & Dates of Operation
Our outdoor swimming pool is open seasonally (typically Memorial Day through Labor Day) 7 days a week from 9:00am until 9:00pm, weather permitting. The pool is not heated.
Use of Common Areas
As a guest, use of our common areas (courtyard and club room) are available on a first come, first serve basis. The common areas may not be available if the space is being rented out for a private party or for a function. As our common areas are available to our guests to use at leisure when available, the lodge prohibits the invitation of outside attendees or functions catered by outside parties and arranged without the consent of management and Lodge staff.
Good Night’s Rest Policy
To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, The Lodge enforces a “Good Night’s Rest” policy in our guest rooms and common areas from 10:00pm until 7:00am. If a disturbance is created as a result of a party or noise from a guest room or common area, all guests in the room/common area may be asked to leave the hotel, without refund. Only registered guests are permitted to enter our guest room elevator or guest rooms during this time. Any Additional Guests must be registered at check-in – unregistered guests will not be granted access to any room for any reason during this time. These guidelines are in place to ensure every guest enjoys a peaceful and pleasant stay in our hotel.

The management will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to guests, or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. Guests will be held responsible for any destructive damages that may occur in their unit during their stay and for any inventoried items missing after check-out by the guest or any additional guests.

Us and three other couples booked this hotel off of the internet without knowing anything about it. What a home run!! This hotel was perfect for us. The rooms are spacious, the pool was perfect and Aaron at the front desk was fabulous. We arrived on a Saturday night after a 15 hour drive from CT and within an hour we all agreed that we wanted to stay another night rather than go on to Myrtle Beach. Aaron was able to book us an extra night and remain in our rooms so we didn't have to move to another room. He gave us suggestions, was pleasant and made our stay perfect. We swam every night and sat up in the widow's walk with cocktails at night just enjoying the view and the breeze. Good location, not too far from Marsh Walk and close to other towns for shopping and site seeing. Great choice for all of us. I hope to have an occasion to go down that way again because this hotel was certainly worth the trip! Thanks Aaron for everything! :)"
We were in Murrell's Inlet for a business conference and stayed at the Lodge upon a recommendation. We were very impressed with the entire facility and friendly staff. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a mini kitchen and full size refrigerator. A continental breakfast was served every morning. Even though we were not there to hunt or fish we noted they had storage facilities available for your gear and an area available to clean your fish and store in a walk in freezer. The Bliss Restaurant and Lounge located right next door served excellent local seafood. We shall be staying here once again when we return in November.r.”"
This is a hidden jewel in Murrell's Inlet. We have traveled throughout the U.S. and this is one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. The mahogany engraved doors are just the beginning of a great suite. I would have loved this room as a studio apartment when I lived in Chicago. The staff was also amazing. Aaron and Randy were incredibly professional and courteous! Made us feel like family. I will definitely stay here again when I return. Plus it is so near so many bars and restaurants."
This hotel was selected by the bride and groom for all of their family and friends to stay. A fantastic selection! Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great service, nice complimentary breakfast. The location is perfectly set on the main drag in Murrells Inlet, you can walk and/or drive to many restaurants, bars, gift shops, etc. We really enjoyed our stay."
My wife and I love this place! This is our place to stay now when we are in the area visiting family. Friendly staff and love the studio rooms with full kitchen, couch and dining table for 2. Luxurious showers and well done bathrooms. The rates are great for a boutique hotel experience. For the ladies, there is a Day Spa around the corner. Great place for fisherman and outdoor gear lockers for your gear. Free continental breakfast and the coffee is very good!"
